Who is involved in Rooted in Jesus?

Rooted in Jesus is published by ReSource
Rooted in Jesus is published by ReSource, an independent Anglican charity based in Wells, Somerset, UK. ReSource’s vision is to help build a church which is diverse, local, renewed in the Spirit and effective in mission. We work with local churches of all types and traditions, with deaneries, dioceses and other denominational groupings. The ReSource team was commissioned by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, in 2004, and our patron is Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York.
ReSource is directed by Martin Cavender, a former ecclesiastical lawyer and Diocesan Registrar. Before coming to ReSource Martin was the Director of Springboard, the Archbishops’ initiative for evangelism. Martin is a holder of the Archbishop’s Cross of St Augustine and a founder member of the Archbishops’ College of Evangelists. Martin is passionate about the gospel and has long experience of working across the traditions of the church both in the UK and abroad, and has been actively involved Rooted in Jesus from its beginning.

We know from both conviction and experience that prayer is the key to everything we do, and we take seriously our obligation to pray for Rooted in Jesus dioceses, leaders and conferences. We have a small UK based team of intercessors who pray daily for the conferences as they take place, and we publish a regular prayer diary which is used more widely (to download itclick the Prayer Diary tab in the left margin).
